On August 27, 2019, a project work meeting was held at the hotel Kruunupuisto hotel in Punkaharju, Finland. The meeting joined the partners of the project KS1309 Innovative information technologies for analysis of negative impact on the cross-border region forests (InnoForestView) implemented in the framework of the South-East Finland – Russia CBC 2014-2020 Programme.
Project partners made their presentations on project activities for the first five months of the implementation period. Maria Kuzko, project secretary, told about the activities of the project’s lead partner, St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Centre (SPb IAC). The lead partner carried out organizational and coordination activities. A project managing group was created. SPb IAC completed project logo, brand book and an official website where you can find information about project and its partners, news and events. SPb IAC started a work process on a benchmarking “IT in ecology in Russia and Finland”. The results are expected by the end of 2019 and they will be presented in 2020. The lead partner also plans to launch social networks of InnoForestView in the autumn 2019 as well as creation a Steering group.
